Today, WPC Victoria Thorne was sentenced to 15 months in jail for working as a prostitute and as a police woman. It’s unknown whether she misused her ’position’ as a police woman to further her criminal connections.
She worked as ‘Kelly’ for the Notorious Girls ‘escort’ agency in the North-East. Through the joys of archive.org, we can find further information. Curiously, press reports all comment on her working from September 2006 until 2007 for the agency, however on archive.org there are pages for her from October 2004. Press reports also misrepresented her fee: it was £50 per half hour, or £90 for the whole hour.
