G20: Additional CCTV Footage Emerges

Fresh footage of police brutality at the G20 protests has emerged. Just a few things to note: (1) as with Ian Tomlinson, the officer is hiding the police ID numbers on his shoulders and (2) the gloves he’s wearing look more like gauntlets.

The woman in the video appears to remonstrate with the officer about being slapped: “You can’t hit a f—- woman” she appears to say before the officer swipes a baton at her kneecaps.

Perhaps this is the Met’s idea of equal opportunities.
